Memory and Nostalgia - Part 1/3 Identity series
This work is about a particular memory I had when I was younger. I grew up in a small village on the countryside in Switzerland, the city atmosphere to me was very dreamlike and fascinating to me and the times I got to see it from a distance was after tennis practice in the evening. When my parents would pick me up from tennis practice and would drive back on the main road, I would often look out the window of the car and engulf myself with the bright city scenery and the music playing in the car. I layered images of cityscapes I took in Norwich, UK and used the double exposure technique to blend it with my portraits.
