Change - Part 2/3 identity series

This work is about how change can be perceived as something intimidating and as something to be proud of. We often want to stay in our comfort zones after experiencing something that has shaped us, but it can be celebrated because of how we have approached these events afterwards and how we have improved ourselves in different ways. The low light atmosphere and the bed the model is sitting on reflects the idea of our comfort zones while the illustrated flowers (that I drew with Ink) behind her reflect the idea of celebration and growth after these events. the pieces of research that most influenced this work is BTS' Wings album concept art, the themes from the book Demian by Hermann Hesse and the medium of Ink. These pieces of research portrayed the look and mood of the series.
